Chime - Water series  WC Test  Summer
2006
Chime is released during WC land series Summer 2006
Trained and handled by Donna LaHaise
Chime is from the second Dalry litter. She is a real spitfire, loves to
work and loves to play. She's very serious about her "jobs" and
learns new concepts easily. Her high drive and work ethic make her
a joy to train and compete with. She spent 4 months with Donna
LaHaise of Ottawa in the summer of 2006 and came home with
both a Junior Hunter title and a Working Certificate Excellent title.

Chime finished her CKC championship with a 5 point BOW, in a
very big and highly competitive entry at the Sporting Dog Club of
BC show held in conjunction with the 2007 Toller National and
Sporting Dog Spectacular. As well, she came home with two Novice
obedience legs and two Novice agility legs. Chime finished her CD
with a High in Trial award on May 3, 2008, score of 194. She got a
second in class in the next trial, with a score of 191, for an
insurance leg.  The completion of her CD qualified Chime for a
Dobirstein Award.

Chime and I competed at the 2009 National Specialty in Kitchener.
We finished her Agility Novice title, got two legs in Jumpers with
Weaves and I was thrilled when she made the first cut in Best of
Breed competition and was awarded 3rd in a very competitive Gun
Dog (Female) class.

At the 2010 Sporting Dog Spectacular Chime and I put in six
qualifying Rally runs to complete both her Novice and Advanced
CKC Rally titles. Two of those runs were "unofficial" High in Trial
awards. We also completed the requirements Agility Trial Champion
title at the end of August. And in October we got two more CARO
Excellent C stream Q's, qualifying Chime for a Silver Lifetime award!

Chime's second litter, sired by OTCh Ch Redadict's Road Runner
WCX MH left for their new homes in late April, except for Morley,
Dalry's Clearly Canadian, who has stayed here. Morley is the
spitting image of her mother and is a lot of fun.

The 2011 National Specialty show held at Spruce Meadows,
Calgary, was a very good one for Chime and I. She won her class
in the Veteran Sweepstakes, got her first Open obedience leg
(we're struggling with this!), finished her Novice Jumpers title, got
a second Intermediate leg and was High Scoring Intermediate
Toller in the Specialty. We also finished her Rally Excellent title with
a HIC and High Scoring Toller in Excellent A for the National. I was
very excited when she placed second in a huge and very
competitive Veteran Female class during the Specialty.

In late August, 2011 Chime qualified for her Agility Association of
Canada Versatility Bronze Award. She's a great agility dog, always
responsive, accurate and willing.
In September 2006 she was
bred to Multi-BIS CKC/AKC/Int'l
Ch. OtCh. Berdia's Mississippi
Gambler SH WCX. She was a
great mom to her four boys and
one girl. All were an
improvement over their dam and
I expect great things from
them. Mary-Ellen Kelm's Rusty is
competing in obedience, rally
and agility.Gary Lobley's Abbey
is a strong duck and goose
hunter. Sue Maile's Sting
finished his AKC championship
in June 2009 and is currently in
training for agility. Lona O'Reilly
and Rowdy are actively
competing in AAC agility.
